Project Ayllu is a free initiative from Local Social Value designed to help registered charities across Essex understand, navigate and engage with the growing social value landscape.
Through free social value support, knowledge sharing and partnership development, it helps charities strengthen their place in the social value ecosystem and work more effectively with businesses, suppliers and commissioners.
Ayllu
is a Quechua word meaning community.
It’s a simple but powerful idea: people, organisations and communities are stronger when they support one another. That belief is at the heart of Project Ayllu.

Project Ayllu gives registered charities access to:

- Help understanding and communicating your social value offer
- Partnership and collaboration opportunities
- Connections to businesses and suppliers
- Networking and learning events
- Practical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Advice on engaging with organisations delivering social value commitments

Who can take part
Project Ayllu is open to:
- Registered charities operating within Essex
- Charities interested in developing partnerships with businesses and suppliers
- Organisations wanting to better understand social value and the opportunities it can create
You’ll need a valid Charity Commission registration number to register.
